lyrics

I heard in heaven there’s a place
Where you can sail on everyday
Where you can fish at anytime
And the seabass always bite

I heard in heaven there´s a field
Where the chalks grow in the trees
Where streams of vodka flow down to the sea
And the oranges are for free

Cause there will be another chance This won’t be our last goodbye

I heard in heaven there’s a bar
Where you can smoke alone in the dark
Where you can wait for us to arrive
We should be there in a little while

Cause there will be another chance This won’t be our last goodbye

about

Gringo Getxo, Spain

Gringo emerged in 2005 from the ashes of what was known as "Getxo Sound" in the 90s in this Basque town.

Today the band is formed by Pablo (guitar & vocals), Javi (guitar & vocals), Igor (bass) and Iñigo (drums). Past members: Txumi, Rodrigo, Pablo I. and Gonzalo.

It's difficult to describe your own music, but one once said we were like "the Velvet Underground's grandsons". We stick to that.
